Year 4 finished a brilliant Science Week, running their own investigations on plant growth, water filtration, and the local insect life of our school grounds. Children worked in pairs to plan, predict, measure, record, and conclude. These are the four habits we want every King's pupil to learn through their science.
The highlight was the seed-germination experiment, where we tested whether seeds grow faster under different conditions. Spoiler: light and water both help, but the dark group surprised us all.
Thank you to families who sent in clear plastic bottles and old seeds. Recycling like this makes good science possible.
